《聖特魯佩斯的警察》劇情簡介
奎薩（路易·德·菲耐斯 Louis de Funès 飾）帶著自己的女兒妮可（吉內薇芙·格拉德 Geneviève Grad 飾）來到了一個新的城市工作生活，為了不被新結識的朋友們嘲笑，妮可謊稱自己的父親是一名百萬富翁，並且擁有一艘豪華遊艇。朋友們起哄讓妮可帶他們到遊艇上玩，為了謊言不被揭穿，妮可隻得接著欺騙遊艇管理員。
遊艇真正的主人是當地的黑社會老大，他剛剛非法得到了一副價值連城的油畫，將它藏在自己的愛車中。哪知道妮可的朋友們誤將那輛車認為是妮可父親的，於是偷偷的開出來兜風，最終他們的一連串騙局都被奎薩給撞穿了。在將車物歸原主的時候，奎薩誤打誤撞的帶走了那幅畫，哪知道竟然被誤認為是偷畫賊。
