1954 劇情簡介：【幕後製作】 拍攝動機起於一九五四年轟動一時的近江絹係公司的女工罷工事件。不過電影則改以大學女生抗爭學校不合理的束縛為主線。京都的正倫女子大學是一所思想保守，培育學生成為賢妻良母的大學，對於學生的私生活予以嚴曆的管束，與男學生交往者一律以退學為懲。其中瀧岡富子是位外向奔放的女孩因與男生交往而受到退學的處分，村野明子是學校經費捐贈人之女，卻站在與家庭相反的立埸，在學校發表左翼的激動言論，煽動學生響應反封建運動，由於明子的做法過於激進終遭失敗，最後由於出石芳江之死終於引了學生群起抗議的高潮， 藉此爭論。導演木下惠介也表達了左翼學生往往陷入人性弱點無法自拔的觀點。本片曾可說是十幾年後全球性學生運動的預言作品。而由某些角度看一九六O年前後，大島渚導演的新左翼激進作品中也可見本片的影響。本片除了描述對封建教育的憎惡，反映社會問題外，抒情場麵也優美突出。
