《竊聽大陰謀》劇情簡介
哈裏·考爾（吉恩·哈克曼 Gene Hackman 飾）在舊金山開了一家偵探公司，他最近的一單生意是去竊聽一對男女的對話。他精心地在一個廣場附近布下層層的竊聽裝置，來捕捉這對男女所說的每一句話。竊聽進行得很順利，聲音很清晰，但他不理解他們所說的話到底什麽意思。 他帶著錄音文件去雇傭他的公司準備拿他的報酬，卻被告知老板不在，便決定暫時不交出錄音文件，並退回報酬。他隻能小心翼翼地保管著他的錄音文件，即使在聚會的時候仍舊提心吊膽，生怕錄音文件被人偷走。千防萬防，錄音文件還是丟失了。心急如焚的哈裏隻能按照他竊聽到的錄音內容，於某日來到那對男女口中提到的酒店，卻不想他正陷入一場巨大的陰謀中……
